We have a diverse and talented team of employees who come to us from many kinds of backgrounds.  We have an immediate need for a talented, experienced Marketing & Sales Operations Associate for our new Downtown Chicago office that will report to our Director of Operations.

Overview

Work with Ecommerce, Marketing, and Partners teams to help grow revenue across various customer groups. This role requires handling inbound and outbound phone calls on a daily basis, regular email correspondence with customers, flexibility in your day-to-day responsibilities, learning and adaptation of operational workflows, and confidence to improvise as needed.
 

Responsibilities

  • Service phone order requests for consumers shopping sympathy gifts directly on Legacy.
  • Service phone order requests for consumers shopping sympathy gifts on partner websites.
  • Assist in fulfilling orders when no delivery address is available for the obituary.
  • Manage your workstream, follow ups, and cases in Salesforce.
  • Contribute directly to team performance targets monthly.
  • Provide empathetic, top-tier service to every customer and contact you engage with.

Requirements

  • Confidence and willingness to develop exceptional phone conversation skills.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively as needed.
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google tools (Google Docs).
  • Familiarity with e-commerce operations preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforces is a plus.
