Platform Owner

We have a diverse and talented team of employees who come to us from many kinds of backgrounds.  We have an immediate need for an Platform Owner for our new Downtown Chicago office to report to our Director of Product.

Position Overview 

As a member of the scrum team, you will work directly with the Platform/Product Manager in executing the platform vision. You’ll work closely with product managers, technology team members, and stakeholders to define and prioritize features that align with our technical needs and organizational goals. You’ll directly assist the team by writing user stories, prioritizing the backlog, and acting as the liaison between the team and stakeholders. You should have a strong desire for continuous improvement and the ability to build strong relationships amongst the team as well as stakeholders.  


  • Develop a strong knowledge of our technologies, business, and the industry. 
  • Write user stories in a clear and understandable manner. 
  • Ensure the team always had an adequate amount of estimated work to tackle. 
  • Participate in agile ceremonies. 
  • Work with the Platform Manager to define upcoming projects that align with our release process. 
  • Research incoming feature requests. 
  • Assist Platform Managers and Technology team members with problem analysis and troubleshooting of bugs.

  • Disciplined time manager who can manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. 
  • 1-3 years prior experience in Platform, Product, Technology, Ads, e-Commerce, or Marketing.
