Position Overview 

The Marketing & Sales Operation Associate will work with Ecommerce, Marketing, and Partners teams to help grow revenue across various customer groups. This position involves handling inbound and outbound phone calls on a daily basis, regular email correspondence with customers, flexibility in your day-to-day responsibilities, learning, and adaptation of operational workflows, and confidence to improvise as needed. 

Responsibilities 

  • Ability to assist consumers by phone, live chat, and email. 

  • Comfort with walking customers through a phone sale, from product recommendation to payment. 

  • Assist in fulfilling orders when no delivery address is available for the obituary. 

  • Manage your workstream, follow-ups, and cases in Salesforce. 

  • Contribute directly to team performance targets monthly. 

  • Provide empathetic, top-tier service to every customer and contact you engage with. 

Requirements 

  • 2+ years of customer service experience, call center or sales experience preferred.

  • Quiet, noise-free home office/workspace that is free of distractions.

  • Must have and be able to maintain an uninterrupted high-speed internet connection.

  • Passion for phone sales and service. 

  • Empathetic and service-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and time-management skills. 

  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively as needed. 

  • Flexibility and comfort level with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Proficient in MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google tools (Google Docs). 

  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus, but not required. 

Hourly Pay

$20 to $25 per hour

Available Shift

Wednesday and Thursday 10am-7pm and Friday-Sunday 8am-5pm CST

Work Location

This is a fully remote position. We are open to accepting applicants in the following states: AZ, CO, FL, IL, IN, KY, MA, MO, NC, PA, TX, UT, WI.
