Director of Program Management

We have a diverse and talented team of employees who come to us from many kinds of backgrounds.  We have an immediate need for a Director of Program Management for our new Downtown Chicago office to report to our VP of Product.

Position Overview is seeking an outstanding cross-functional leader to join us and assist with Program Management. This team member is responsible for managing, planning, and executing the product roadmap. We are looking for an influencer who is organized and is one that thrives in a complex environment. 

Empathy: This person must show the highest level of Empathy as the role is to not dictate, but to understand the needs of the business and how to make them a reality. 

No Limits Mindset: This person must have an open mind and focus on the end goal without getting tripped up and distracted by rabbit holes along the way. 

Speed: Understanding that there will be times where trade offs are needed so making the best decision with the right information will allow us to quickly pivot on opportunities as they arise. 

Inclusion: This role is required to drive the exchange and participation of stakeholders in the lifecycle of the products that we build. 

Collaboration: You will make our technology and stakeholder teams stronger by promoting self organizing teams to deliver on needs for the business. 

Results: This role is ultimately responsible for making sure our product roadmap is properly communicated and coordinated with our Technology team in a way that we achieve our key objectives to maintain a profitable/sustainable business. 

Integrity: This role is responsible for making sure that we are making the right decisions to achieve our business goals and respect our users/customers needs. 



  • Oversee planning, development, implementation and maintenance of our product release plans - own the program schedule that aligns with the product roadmap 
  • Ensure release plans are aligned with organizational goals
  • Promote effective communication between cross-functional teams
  • Prooactively interact with business stakeholders and product teams to ensure project requirements, scope, risks, and challenges have been properly assessed and are kept updated on status.
  • Assists in driving a culture of quality and personable accountability through development and delivery. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Well organized, flexible, and adaptable
  • Exceptional leadership abilities 
  • Experience with DevOps, Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience in communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, ads, and other related departments
  • Solid track record of launching programs/products or other related relevant experience
  • Extraordinary influence who is fantastic at connecting the dots at the organizational, program, product, and project levels
  • Strong business acumen with an ability to dive into any area of the business to develop a deep understand of the needs and shape execution plans
  • Expert knowledge in program, product, and project management. 
  • Able to bridge competing priorities between different team initiatives
  • 5-7+ years prior experience in software program or product management
